Dr Alison Robinson BDSc (Melb) - Principal Dentist
Having grown up in Glen Iris, Alison attended MacRobertson’s Girls' High School before moving to the University of Melbourne to study Dentistry. She graduated in 1996. An honorary Geelong local, Alison has holidayed at Torquay since 1988 and has worked in the Geelong area since graduating.

Dr Alison Robinson has a broad interest in all aspects of dentistry, specialising in children and general restorative dentistry. Alison is a member of the Australian Dental Association and Paedodontic Society. Alison is a devoted mother of Noah, Miles and Lucas, and wife of Dr Jason Gray. Her interests include ‘her boys’ and her golden retriever named Johey.

Dr Jason Gray BDSc (Hons) BSc (Melb) – Principal Dentist
A born and bred Geelong local, Jason attended North Geelong High School before moving onto the University of Melbourne where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1994.

A love of helping people, use of medical knowledge and a desire for the use of his hands lead Jason to pursue a career in Dentistry. Five further years of study and Jason graduated from the University of Melbourne dental school with first class honours and met his wife, friend and business partner, Alison.
Jason has developed a special interest in all aspects of cosmetic dentistry, with an emphasis on dental implants, veneers, and crown and bridgework.
Dr Jason Gray is proud to say that each year since graduating he has completed in excess of 80 hours of continuing education.
Jason was recently selected as a participant in a dental developement programme for excellent dentists at the Las Vegas Institute. Jason and his assistant Sarah have successfully completed Core 1 and 2 in 2008 with more to come in 2009 and beyond.
He is a member of the following dental societies and associations:
- Australian Dental Association (ADA)
- Immediate Past Chairman of the Australian Dental Association - Southern Group
- Emergency consultant dentist to the Geelong Hospital
- Australian Osseointegration Society (AOS)
- Australian Periodontics Society
- Australian Prosthodontics Society
Apart from keeping up to date with dentistry, Jason’s passions include surfing, kiteboarding, tennis, staying physically fit, cooking and fine wine. Jason’s greatest loves are his wife Dr Alison Robinson and their beautiful boys Noah, Miles and Lucas.

Colleen O'Callaghan – Dip. App.Sc. (Dental Therapy)
Ass. Dip. (Dental Hygiene) - Dental Hygienist
Colleen joined the team at Robinson and Gray Dental in 2005, and brought with her over twenty years experience in the dental field. A graduate of Clonard College, she then pursued her tertiary studies in both Melbourne and Adelaide.

As a Dental Therapist, Colleen worked for the School Dental Service, practising dentistry for primary school children in Geelong & Melbourne. In 1993, Colleen furthered her studies, and qualified as a Dental Hygienist. She has since decided to restrict her practice to Dental Hygiene, an area of dentistry she is passionate about. She has worked in both specialist and general dental practices, and has a special interest in holistic dentistry.
Colleen is a registered Dental Hygienist with the Dental Practice Board of Victoria and a member of the Dental Hygienists’ Association of Australia. Colleen is passionate about continuing education and updating her skills, and is always ready for a new challenge. We have had nothing but praise from Colleen's patients for her thoroughness and gentle touch.
Colleen’s interests include yoga, pilates, gym and walking her two gorgeous kelpies. She and her partner Sean thoroughly enjoy the relaxed beach lifestyle at their home in Jan Juc.

| Kim Carroll – Dip.OHT Dental Therapy and Hygiene (Melb) - Dental Therapist/Dental Hygienist
Initially from Ocean Grove, Kim attended Bellarine Secondary College and completed her VCE at Ballarat High School. In 2003, Kim completed a Diploma of Oral Health Therapy in Dental Therapy at the University of Melbourne.

For two years, Kim worked as a Dental Therapist with the School Dental Service, and at the same time also managed to find the time to complete a Diploma of Oral Health Therapy in Dental Hygiene at the University of Melbourne!
Kim commenced practising at Robinson and Gray Dental in January 2005, and her smiling face & friendly personality have proven very comforting to her patients. Her interests include spending time with her husband, baby Blair, friends and two labradors Blake and Lani. On weekends Kim enjoys motorbiking, waterskiing and going to the beach, however these activities have been toned down a little since the birth of her son, Blair.
Kim is a member of the Dental Hygienists' Association of Australia, the Victorian Dental Therapists' Association, & is registered with the Dental Practice Board of Victoria.

| Carly Ross – Dip.OHT Dental Therapy and Hygiene (Melb) - Dental Therapist /Dental Hygienist
A born and bred Geelong local, Carly attended Christian College before moving on to the University of Melbourne to further her studies. Having completed the Bachelor of Oral Health. Carly moved back to Geelong and began working in the School Dental Service. She commenced practising at Robinson and Gray in December 2007.

Carly is a registered Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist with the Dental Practice Board of Victoria and a member of the Dental Hygienists’ Association of Australia and the Victorian Dental Therapists’ Association. Carly’s special interests include health promotion and preventative care. She is passionate about continuing education and expanding her range of skills and knowledge.
Her interests include playing netball with Newtown/Chillwell, music, reading, jogging and going to the gym. On the weekends, Carly enjoys going to the football to support the Cats, playing with her two beagle buddies and loves spending time with family and friends.

| Janita Maloney – Practice Manager
Put simply Janita is ‘the boss’. Having joined the practice in 2003, Janita brought with her a wealth of dental administration and management knowledge. Pretty much her entire working life has been in the dental industry. The skills she brings to the practice and her beautiful persona are clearly invaluable.

Janita’s interests include socialising with friends, long lunches and spending time with her two gorgeous daughters. Janita also enjoys weekends at Wye River and holidaying in Asia.
|
| Seona Collins – Hygiene Coordinator
Seona is ‘the centre half forward’ of the team. Having an ability to do just about any task in the practice, she is the first smiling face you see or the voice you hear in the practice. Seona’s role in the practice is enormous - to ensure all our fantastic patients and team members are happy and have had the most pleasant experience possible.

A tireless person with endless amounts of energy, no-one lives life any fuller than Seona. Her interests include her husband Sam, labrador Jack, and socialising with her incredibly large circle of friends. A love of snowboarding and camping has lead to injuries over the years, but this doesn't deter Seona - she is always on top of her game, and her amazing energy is tangible.
Seona was educated at Sacred Heart College and has been in the dental industry since 2001 having graduated from her dental assisting studies in 2002.

Pauline McKinlay – Dental Assistant
Pauline was born and grew up in Geelong, completing her schooling at Matthew Flinders GHS. She went directly into the dental field from school, completing her dental assistant’s course in 1996. Working in the many specialty aspects of dentistry has been her passion ever since.
Pauline has attended many educational courses concerned with the developing technologies which are such an important part of today’s advanced dentistry.

Pauline lived and worked in Dubai AUE from 1995 to 2001. She is delights in meeting new people and learning about different cultures. Singing in the ladies ‘Barber Shop Choir’ in Dubai was a great enjoyment and a musical ‘coming out’ for a previously shy performer. Pauline returned home to Geelong with a new understanding of heritage and cultural differences.
Pauline joined the team at Robinson and Gray in February 2008 and is now clinical assistant to Dr Ross Abraham.
Since her return, Pauline has been involved in local musical theatre and is revelling in its challenges. Pauline owns Shih Tzu x Lhasa Apsos and loves walks on the beach with them near her seaside home at Ocean Grove.
Pauline wishes to further her studies over time in the ever evolving dental industry. She is excited by new technologies, and providing the best ‘oral care’ for all.

Briony Forsyth – Hygiene Assistant
Born and raised in Geelong, Briony attended Sacred Heart College in Newtown, and feeling the need to expand her horizons, moved to Melbourne and worked as a dental assistant. Two years later, Geelong was calling and she returned home. Briony commenced employment at Robinson and Gray Dental Surgery in March 2006 as hygiene assistant to Colleen O’Callaghan.

Briony’s outside interests include her cat named FiFi, shopping, painting, swimming and going to the gym.

| Sarah DeBeer– Dental Assistant
Another Geelong local, Sarah attended Matthew Flinders Girls Secondary College. Shortly after commencing employment as a trainee dental assistant in Geelong, Sarah moved to Melbourne with her partner and completed the Certificate Three in Dental Assisting whilst working as a receptionist in a Prahran dental practice. Three years later, returning home Sarah purchased her first house in Geelong West. Sarah assists Dr Jason Gray in his delivery of optimal dental care.

Sarah’s hobbies include netball, gymnastics, rock climbing, and camping. She has two pets a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog named Kirra and an Eastern water dragon pet lizard named Georgie. She loves spending time with her family and friends, and is currently busy planning her wedding to Sam.
